Basic education is known to drive rapid sustained participatory economic development and civic responsibility. Many public schools, especially those in the rural areas, require infrastructure upgrades. There are many without adequate seats and tables for students and teachers, lack access to water and basic sanitation. Some of the schools may not have libraries while teachers may find living in the locations of the schools inconvenient.
Access to the Internet where possible will be provided in the schools to enrich the quality of teaching and learning in those schools. Where required the schools shall be provided with some level of security to protect the facilities. Recruitment of teachers to improve Teacher:Student Ratio may also be carried out if the government is unable to provide the schools with enough teachers to avoid overcrowded classrooms or stressed out teachers.
While we shall concentrate on public schools, in special cases we shall support private schools which communities critically depend on for access to basic education.
