Welcome To

Phlox Health Wash Foundation

Phlox Health WASH Foundation (Reg No. 7329103) is established to support communities especially in very difficult terrains to access potable water, healthcare services and be empowered to participate optimally in national economic development in sustainable ways.

Our approach to solving identified problems is simple. We adopt the mantra – “To help the helpless, Help those who help the most”. We shall focus on what makes life easier and improves human welfare. We shall remain apolitical and treat everyone as equal without religious or ethnic sentiments.

To be the desired partner for rapid participatory community development.

Our Mission

Work with Communities to establish sustainable sources of water for basic needs and optimal sanitation.
Establish partnerships and alliances to implement projects to deliver sanitation facilities to communities lacking those basic facilities.
Assist communities to develop capacities for efficient and sustainable access to water and sanitation, basic education and healthcare services.
Develop communication models to reinforce good sanitation practices in communities to prevent water borne diseases and other communicable diseases.
Support local health care delivery facilities with equipment, appliances, water and power where they are lacking or inadequate.
Health and wellness advocacy.

WASH Clubs

We intend to work with communities to establish WASH Clubs for diverse groups in the communities where we work. These Clubs which shall be supported to promote Wellness, Good Sanitation Practices and Efficient Use of Water shall be created in:

Schools
Age Groups
Markets
Motor Parks
Trade Associations

The Clubs shall compete for annual awards to identify the most active and effective Clubs in the communities. WASH Champions and Ambassadors shall be selected annually in recognition of their contributions and or living the ideals of WASH. The leaders of the Clubs shall agree at the beginning of each year the easy to measure factors to be evaluated and rewarded. This is to ensure optimal participation and promotion of wellness in the communities.
